In a storybook tale of taking the lemons life sometimes gives you and turning them into some darn tasty lemonade, both Designed by Grace and The Creative Cupcake were born. From a very early age, Nicolette Cunningham lived up to her Libra-ness and loved all things creative and crafty. It didn't matter if she was baking cookies, painting a Strawberry Shortcake statue or sewing scrunchies to match all of her clothes -- as long as she was being creative.

Color, texture and laughter inspire her everyday. When not hard at work in her new Westwood, New Jersey design studio (quite an upgrade from her former living room set-up), Nicolette can be found hosting lavish dinner parties, photographing anyone/thing that will allow her, and spending time with her fantastic husband and their friends.

Rather than slaving away behind a desk for hours everyday, Nicolette now gets to use her creative powers for good, rather than corporate 'evil'. On a never-ending quest to find the perfect accessories, she finds herself wading through a sea of vintage jewelry components, racks of ribbon trim and bins of fabric on a regular basis to bring you some of the most amazing jewelry, accessories and gifts around!
